someone once said that my team had a "line out" very bad, and I want to give me ideas on how to improve it, make plays and surprise that are new for the other team, thanks
Jorge
Have a look at the attached practice and then you can build it up to 5 or even 7 players in the line out.
Communication between players is key.
I hope this helps you

Lineout: lift
Jumper
Jorge,to build on Simon's excellent advice. I would recommend forming two pods. Pod 1 consists of two support players and a jumper and operates at the front of the lineout (i.e. the jumper is at 2nd in the lineout). Pod 2 is the same format - two support players and a jumper, who jumps at 5. Develop clear calls which everyone understands, controlled by your pack leader, to indicate which pod and whether it is a "catch and drive", "pop off the top", etc. Everyone needs to be aware of timeings too. Typically the intended jumper will signal to the thrower (and support players) using, say a dip or double dip, to indcate when he is going up - the other jumper should make dummy moves to confuse the opposition. Once your team has got the hang of this you can add movement to make the lineout more dynamic and unpredictable. A variation which is good to move towards is to have the jumpers at 2 and 4 in the lineout with the support player at 3 lifting both jumpers - but only one at a time based on the call!! This benefits from a lot of movement to really confuse the opposition but it takes practice to coordinate the timeings. Hope this gives you a few ideas to work on. Good luck, Lloyd
thanks, this will serve me well, I will take note.
